Who is Joseph Hennessey?
Attorney Joseph Hennessey became a police officer at the age of 19. He dropped out of college to accept the full-time position. He worked part-time until he attended the Waltham Police Academy.
After graduating from the police academy he was immediately assigned to an undercover assignment and was assigned to the Tri-County Drug Task Force. He later worked with the Waltham Drug Unit and then the Metrowest Drug Task Force.
His training was extensive. He was trained in Crime Scene Investigations, Homicide Investigations, fingerprint, sexual assault investigations, along with multiple training classes in OUI enforcement techniques, field sobriety testing, and as a certified breathlyzer operator. He was trained by the Massachusetts State Police and has attended numerous training classes taught within the National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration standards. He has testified in hundreds of cases. HE KNOWS THE INACCURACIES OF THESE TESTS!!!!
Attorney Hennessey is dedicated to the task at hand. His work ethic proves it. While working midnight to 8am shifts, he chose to go back to school. He dedicated himself to his family, school, and work while working one of the toughest shifts. As a father of 3 daughters, he was a coach in soccer, hockey, football, softball. That's the perserverance he has. He is dedicated to the task at hand. He worked hard to graduate with a BS in Law Enforcement. But he didn't stop there. He continued in the Masters program graduating with a Masters Degree in criminal justice administration, then on to Law School with a concentration in Criminal Law and Litigation, then passing the Mass. Bar Exam.

With more than 23 years of experience as a police officer trained by the FBI, Massachusetts State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration, and the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council in Crime Scene investigation and evidence recovery, fingerprinting and recovery, homicide investigations, sexual assault investigations, drug enforcement investigations and 100s of hours of training in field sobriety testing, breathalyzer testing, and impaired (drunk driving ) enforcement.
